During this tour you will see some unique shops, most of them from the 19th century. These places managed to stay in business throughout the monarchy period, the declaration of the republic, revolutions and economical crisis!
In a time of globalization, take a step back, relax and do some curious window-shopping!

Lisbon’s Jewish heritage
Throughout centuries the Jews played an important economical and cultural role in Lisbon.
This walking tour will take you through the steps of their history in this town: their arrival, the Inquisition period and the return.
We will feel like travelling on time by walking along the former jewish neighborhood, the locations where the ancient synagogues were once built, the squares where the persecutions took place and much more.
It is possible to visit the modern synagogue, but according to its availability and rules.
