Belém Tour

If you love History and adventures this is the tour for you.

Walk with us and learn more about one of the richest periods of the Portuguese History – The Discoveries Age.

In the 15th and 16th centuries Lisbon became the most important trade centre of Europe and Belém quarter the most outstanding neighborhood of that time.

Its location on the mouth of the Tagus’ river, allowed the caravels to leave with adventurous sailors to discover the new world. Exotic products like spices brought from India changed the local economy and gastronomy. Kings built churches and monuments to pay honor to those achievements.

Discover the Tower of Belém (exterior visit), the Monument of the Discoveries (exterior visit), the Jerónimos Monastery  (visit of the Church).
